The Applications Performance Matrix is designed to capture the complexity of performance assessment for real-world science and engineering applications on high-end computing systems. The metrics used in the Matrix are those deemed appropriate by the various applications communities represented in the Matrix. Where no other choice has been made, Tflops is used as a default.
The Matrix is a medium for communicating results generated by the scientific community. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results that we report, the ultimate responsibility — and credit — for the contents of the Matrix rests with the authors, whose works we cite.
